At Softtech, we believe that every individual has equal potential and that gender equality is essential for more effective and sustainable ways of working.

We are committed to addressing, with sincerity and in alignment with our corporate values, the gender-based biases and limiting behaviors—both conscious and unconscious—that are often normalized in our communication and work practices. Our goal is to expand this effort through solidarity, diversity, and inclusion, and to transform awareness into action with the courage that comes from collective engagement.

To that end, we have launched a series of awareness initiatives. We published our Gender Equality Guide and introduced the “Equality begins in language!” campaign by integrating a Gender-Neutral Dictionary into our Outlook system. We enhanced our recruitment processes and implemented a Gender Distribution Dashboard

As a signatory of the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs)—a joint initiative of UN Women and the United Nations Global Compact designed to guide private sector efforts on gender equality—we have carried our commitment to gender equality onto the international stage.

In collaboration with Ecording, we laid the foundation for the Softtech Forest by planting 15,000 seeds as an investment in a greener future. 🌎 🌳 We will continue to invest in our future for a more sustainable and greener world. 🙏🏻

In May 2023, as Softtech employees, we joined forces with Resif34, a student community from Kadir Has University, to organize a coastal cleanup event aimed at contributing to environmental protection.

The cleanliness and sustainability of our seas, beaches, and coastal areas are of great importance to us. We work together to reduce plastic waste and promote eco-friendly solutions.

By acting collectively for a cleaner environment, we aim to help build a healthier future.

Pupilica was established to promote equal opportunity in education and to help learners discover their inherent talents.

Developed through the collaboration between Softtech’s technological leadership and Koç University’s academic excellence, the platform empowers young individuals to shape their futures and careers through up-to-date, high-quality educational content.

Anyone who joins Pupilica can access courses anytime, anywhere, and at their own pace—designing a personalized and flexible learning experience that suits their needs.

On October 4th, to celebrate World Animal Day and connect with the beloved companions we share our planet with, we visited our furry friends at a local shelter. Protecting animals, showing them compassion, and standing up for their rights is a responsibility we all share. 🐾❤️

Through our Soft.Hearts employee volunteering initiative, we contributed to library development at İsmail Kurtul Primary School in Onikişubat, Kahramanmaraş by providing comprehensive book support.

At the Türkiye İş Bankası 46th Istanbul Marathon held on Sunday, November 3rd, 2024, we supported AÇEV's "We Grow by Playing" project to provide them with safe play areas and advocate for children's right to play.

We care deeply about the future of our planet and proudly support the “Don’t Waste, Donate!” campaign as part of our commitment to a more sustainable future.Launched in October 2023 through a collaboration between TEGV and TÜBİSAD, and aligned with the UNDP’s global goals, this initiative promotes sustainable environmental policies by recycling harmful electronic waste. These materials are reintegrated into the economy, and the proceeds are used to provide quality educational support to children at TEGV activity centers across Turkey.

🌊 We Dove for Pinas in Erdek!

On June 5, 2024—World Environment Day—our Soft.Hearts volunteer divers took to the waters of Erdek to raise awareness about the importance of pinas (noble pen shells) and their critical role in the marine ecosystem.

In collaboration with Prof. Dr. Mustafa Sarı, faculty member at Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University’s Faculty of Maritime Studies, we had the opportunity to observe pinas in their natural habitat and deepen our understanding of their ecological significance and the urgency of protecting them.

During a short interview with Prof. Sarı—who played a key role in bringing the Umut Pina project to life—we also learned more about the mucilage phenomenon that affected the Sea of Marmara in recent years, along with insights from his book “Müsilaj: Ağıt mı Umut mu?” (“Mucilage: Lament or Hope?”) published by İş Kültür Yayınları.

On June 5, 2024, World Environment Day, the Softtech family came together with Soft.Hearts volunteers in Belgrad Forest for a cleanup event to help protect nature and contribute to building a sustainable future. We believe that keeping our environment clean and healthy is possible through the small steps we each take. 🌿

At Softtech, beyond developing technology-driven products and services, we are deeply committed to contributing to society through meaningful social responsibility initiatives.

In line with this vision, we launched the theatre production “Bir Küçük Parantez” through a collaboration between the Softtech Theatre Club—formed by our employee volunteers—and LudensArt.

Our greatest aspiration in bringing this project to life was to support children in earthquake-affected regions. While doing so, we also aimed to encourage Softtech employees—most with no prior acting experience—to discover new talents and support their personal development.

As part of our nine-month collaboration with LudensArt, we organized acting workshops and scheduled regular rehearsals for participants without a theatre background.

Our play “Bir Küçük Parantez” (A Little Parenthesis) was staged on June 11–12, 2024, at Maximum Uniq Hall. Ticket proceeds were donated via the Okul Destek Derneği (School Support Association) to fund one year of education for 150 students, primarily in earthquake-impacted areas.
