Softtech Supports One Year of Education for 150 Students
In alignment with our commitment to social responsibility, Softtech is proud to announce the successful staging of “Bir Küçük Parantez” by our volunteer-led Softtech Theatre Club, in collaboration with LudensArt. Held on June 11-12 at Maximum Uniq Hall, this theatrical performance drew enthusiastic audiences, with ticket proceeds funding one year of education for 150 students through the Okul Destek Derneği. Our General Manager, M. Bülent Özçengel, highlighted the significance of such initiatives, urging other companies to follow suit, and reaffirmed our dedication to continuing these efforts in the future.
Our recent endeavor, featuring the play “Bir Küçük Parantez,” exemplifies a successful social responsibility project. After nine months of intensive preparation by the Softtech Theatre Club, composed of our passionate volunteers, the play’s proceeds will support the education of 150 students, primarily from earthquake-affected regions, facilitated by the Okul Destek Derneği. This achievement underscores our ongoing commitment to creating meaningful impacts through the arts and community engagement.
Meaningful Support for the Regions Affected by the Earthquake
Our General Manager, M. Bülent Özçengel, shared that while embarking on this journey, the goal was to create a platform that not only embraces social responsibility but also allows Softtech employees to express themselves and foster a sense of unity. “We take immense pride in supporting the education of our children. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved in this meaningful endeavor, especially the art enthusiasts who attended the play, LudensArt, İş Bankası, İş Sanat, and all our colleagues who participated in the performance,” he stated.
“Continuing on Our Path with the Same Commitment”
In addition to supporting students affected by the earthquake through social responsibility projects, Özçengel emphasized the importance of increasing our employees’ awareness of social responsibility. He continued:
“This commendable social responsibility project has provided our employees with the opportunity to discover their talents, get to know themselves and each other better, and strengthen their bonds and collaborations. It was truly gratifying and heartwarming to see our play, performed by colleagues with no prior acting experience, receive a standing ovation. This experience has shown us the immense value of combining success with societal benefit. Contributing to the education of our students is an investment not only in their future but in our collective future as well. I hope this initiative, leveraging the unifying power of art, sets an example for everyone.”
Orkun Oğuz, Founder and President of Okul Destek Derneği, also expressed his thoughts: “We are delighted that the proceeds from the amateur theatre play performed by Softtech employees will support the education of our students. This support strengthens our efforts to provide better educational access to hundreds of students from all walks of life in our community. We are grateful to everyone involved in this valuable contribution. We hope to see more collaborations like this, leading to positive changes in education.“
